Little Green Corner opened in February 2015. Set up by hospitality professionals Hugh Whitehead (front of house) and Chris Welsh (Chef) with the objective to celebrate the produce of this region whilst minimising their environmental footprint.
The blackboard menu allows easy movement between dishes, depending on what local produce finds its way through the door; be it from their network of local gardeners, farmers, growers who trade produce for coffee, or the cafe’s own ‘Green Corner Farm’.
The menu offering is pared back meaning each dish, coffee or beverage is considered. Its a place for hospitality innovation; who else makes their own cultured ice tea, for example. It is a gathering place for local chefs on days off, hospitality people and coffee enthusiasts (coffee by Small Batch, North Melbourne).
Little Green Corner also have a sun drenched space upstairs that is available for off site meetings, open work space, workshops and even yoga classes.
Due to current health advice on social distancing, please contact the business for the most up to date information regarding opening times and services.
