Sedgley & Sons are selected from 25-year-old Pinot Noir vines.
Situated on the Mornington Peninsula, Creadon Farm has only one hectare of vines and the wine is made exclusively from these high-quality, non-irrigated grapes.
All Pinot Noir produced from Creadon Farm is matured in a combination of new and old French oak barrels for 11 to 12 months before bottling. This produces a subtle balance of flavours of cherry, strawberry, black olives and cloves with hints of ginger, pepper and oak in the long finish. The elegant complexity of this wine is apparent drinking it now, but will also mature for several more years in the bottle.
Mornington Peninsula’s cool climate is celebrated for its Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Its wines are known the world over with many of the region’s winemakers enjoying international recognition. Sedgley & Sons Pinot Noir is a very special fine wine to share with friends and family.
