Located in Rockhampton in a historic Queensland Hotel is the Saleyards Distillery. What was an iconic hotel originally built in 1881 has been transformed into a unique and quirky distillery specialising in the distillation of rum, gin and vodka. Visitors can come on a tour of the distillery and learn all about the process of what goes into a bottle of finely crafted spirits. The tour includes a tasting of all the spirits being produced and visitors can also sit down for a fine meal at the adjoining restaurant.
