Our Murray River Cruises operate along the entire length of the Murray River between Goolwa SA and Albury, NSW. From the moment you board one of our purpose built boats, you will be enchanted by the never ending but always changing scenery, the abundance of birdlife and wildlife, the history and stories, the captivating colours, moods, sounds and silences.
Spirit Australia passengers do not stay on-board in cabins. Passenger accommodation is on-shore in comfortable en-suite riverside town hotels allowing time to explore a different riverside town most evenings.
We mostly cruise one way, with coach return to port of origin to maximise distance cruised and minimise duplication of scenery. Our boats are therefore smaller, allowing access to unique untraveled waters and offering a more personalised and small group cruising experience. Our captains also offer expert and entertaining commentary on the stories and history of the Murray River.
We also cruise the Gippsland Lakes in Victoria. A unique opportunity to explore the 7 Rivers, 4 Channels, 3 Lakes, 2 Straits & islands that inter-connect to make up the fascinating and diverse waterways.
More recently, we have added cruises on the Myall Lakes, Brisbane River and the Hawkesbury River.
