December is always a busy time of year, but in the weeks leading up to Christmas our family here at Family Parks got a little bit busier!
Just a few weeks before Christmas Family Parks adopted it’s newest member – ‘Millie’ – our 1968 Millard caravan!
In almost mint original condition – fit with timber laminate interior, and alumnium exterior – Millie was ready for a reno and scheduled in for her first road trip on Boxing Day!
So without much time to spare we handed her to our Marketing Manager, Amanda, and her husband Blake, and asked them to work some magic to have her ready for the trip!
Here’s what she looked like before we started…..
Then something like this…
And here’s what she looked like after they were done!….
Amanda and Blake kept us all up to date on our facebook page with progress pics and update of their travels!
Since Christmas Millie’s visited plenty of our parks and seen heaps of Australia!
Where Norm tried to steal her!….
If you’d like to see more of the reno pics (like the ones below) or want to follow Millie’s travels visit our facebook page!
We’ve got to give a HUGE shout out to the guys at Arrow Towbars and Burpengary, and Hayman Reese, for hooking us up with a new towbar setup and to Blake’s brother Ty, who very generously donated his yard and his time to re-spray the outside of Millie!
