At Tuki you are guaranteed to catch a trout. The trout stocked at Tuki are rainbow trout. They are not put into the ponds till they are about 300gm each.
Trout taste best as a smaller fish, so a catch of 3 will be about a kilogram in weight. These are weighed and cleaned for you to take home.
The trout caught are $16.50 kg.
At Tuki we smoke a batch of trout every week,these are smoked in our smokehouse over hardwood,then kryovaced for your convenience.
These smoked trout are $30.00kg and have a life of about 6 weeks under refrigeration.
