The Raglan Surfing School has been getting students to “Stand up and Surf’ year round since 1998. We are NZ’s Top Surf School.
At the Raglan Surf School our emphasis is on fun and safety, to ensure that our students have a great ocean experience. Classes are designed to be mentally and physically interactive. During the initial 3 hour lesson, beginners are taken through the fundamentals of surfing, ocean awareness, etiquette, and water safety.
The Raglan Surf School has developed and integrated and innovative system of dry land surf board models that allow the Student to experience surfboard dynamics prior to entering the water. RSS is the only surf school in NZ incorporating this interactive teaching technique.
Individuals can be taken from riding the whitewater to gliding along open faced ground swells in just a few lessons.
