Spear Creek Holiday Park is a family-owned and operated holiday park located in the beautiful Flinders Ranges region of South Australia. Spear Creek Station has been in the Herde family since the mid 1940’s predominately breeding Merino sheep for wool. In 1991 they changed breeds, settling on the Dorper due to its suitability for the property. In 2021 Spear Creek Caravan Park was purchased by the fourth generation, Tom and his partner Jai have since rebranded the business as ‘Spear Creek Holiday Park’,
This picturesque park is nestled in the heart of a working dorper sheep station, surrounded by stunning nature, beautiful landscapes, and rolling hills.

Spear Creek is family and pet friendly with plenty of powered and non-powered sites available, campfires at most sites, two bedroom bungalows, studios, our very popular Shearers Quarters and lots of room to explore! The bungalows are fully self-contained and the perfect getaway for families, comfortably sleeping up to 6 guests in 2 bedrooms. The park even has some fantastic dog-friendly accommodation options.
The park’s team of experienced staff provide excellent customer service, ensuring that guests have an enjoyable and memorable stay. They take pride in their park and maintain it to a high standard, ensuring that guests have access to all facilities, including showers, toilets, and coin operated laundry.

Great place very friendly owners and the fresh lamb is absolutely amazing taste so good. wish I could stay longer and the sunset at the top of the hill is amazing, and the toilets and showers facilities are very clean

What a fantastic hidden gem of a CP. We just returned from 2 nights here and didn’t want to leave. Gorgeous bushland location with magnificent views of the ranges and huge trees. Lovely walks in the area. Amenities are very clean and camp kitchen also super clean and well stocked. The manager we met was so friendly and helpful and the coffee van was amazing serving amazing coffee. We will definitely return for the peace and tranquillity. The managers are doing a fantastic job here so keep up the good work guys. Thanks again.
